2023 KIA EV6

Crossovers are handy companions on the road, and with the advent of electric car technology, some of the best crossovers available are all-electric. If that sounds like something you may be interested in, the new 2023 Kia EV6 pushes the limit of electric crossover capabilities. Take a look at what the EV6 can offer, and discover whether it's right for you.

TRIM LEVELS (EXTERIOR)

The Kia EV6 comes in three different trim levels, each with unique exterior features to consider. It all begins with the Wind trim, which comes with flush door handles in the body color of your choosing and lower body cladding in Gloss Black. You even get stylish 19-inch alloy wheels with a black finish that will turn heads no matter where your adventure takes you.

If you're looking for an upgrade, the GT-Line is a bit sportier in its overall appearance. While this trim level has the same 19-inch alloy wheels, it boasts a different body styling in five select body colors. The top-level EV6 is the GT model, predominantly focused on performance, featuring 21-inch alloy wheels with Z-rated Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Some popular features of both GT trims include an auto pop-out flush door handle and a power sunroof.

ENGINE (POWER)

With three different engine options, the EV6 lets you customize just how much power you want with this electric crossover. For rear-wheel-drive models, there's an electric motor with a 77.4-kWh battery that offers 225 horsepower with 258 pound-feet of torque. If that's not enough, choose the all-wheel-drive engine that produces 320 horsepower and 446 pound-feet of torque. The GT engine offers the same Lithium Ion battery, but with an incredible 576 horsepower with 545 pound-feet of torque.

PERFORMANCE

When you're behind the wheel of the Kia EV6, you can enjoy a speedy and responsive drive. In fact, the top model can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.4 seconds, fully living up to the expectation of incredible acceleration that so many drivers have come to expect from electric vehicles. It provides a quick and efficient battery charge time from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes. You can also enjoy an adaptive suspension system as well as an available electronic limited-slip differential.

INTERIOR

Inside the EV6, you'll find plenty of room for cargo and passengers alike, thanks to its generous interior space. Specifically, you can enjoy 42.2 inches of legroom in the front, while your rear passengers get 39 inches of legroom in the back. If you're more interested in cargo, you've got 24.4 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats, which stretches to 50.2 cubic feet if you fold the second row down. In terms of technology, it comes standard with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.

SAFETY FEATURES

The 2023 Kia EV6 has several safety features, so you can drive with peace of mind. Standard systems include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert alongside automatic emergency braking and high beam assist. You even get smart cruise control with lane-keeping assist. If you want an upgrade, consider the remote parking assist feature that can help you park the car properly even if you're already outside of it.
