2023 KIA CARNIVAL MPV
Do you want to take a different approach to the way you transport your family? Blending the best elements of a minivan and an SUV, the Kia Carnival MPV, or multipurpose vehicle, offers a high-end, passenger-focused experience and driver-friendly performance. Check out the details of the 2023 Kia Carnival MPV.

TRIM LEVELS (EXTERIOR)
The 2023 Kia Carnival MPV offers the LX, LX Seat Package, EX, SX, and SX Prestige. The LX is nicely appointed with half-chrome door handles, body-color side mirrors, a rear spoiler with an LED taillight, power sliding rear doors, LED daytime running lights, and variable intermittent windshield wipers.
The LX and LX Seat Package get 17-inch silver-finished alloy and 19-inch machined-finish alloy wheels, respectively. The EX comes with 19-inch machined-finish alloy wheels. The SX and SX Prestige ride on 19-inch alloys with a gloss black finish, and they also get LED fog lights. Dual sunroofs, LED projector headlights, and LED taillights come standard on the SX Prestige.

ENGINE (POWER)
A 3.6-liter V-6 engine with 290 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque powers all variants of the 2023 Kia Carnival MPV. Considering the best-in-class horsepower ratings and torque not far behind, you might forget you're inside such a large vehicle. The front wheels receive power from an active-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission.

PERFORMANCE
The Carnival is stable on high-speed corners and agile when cruising. It can also reach 60 mph in under 7 seconds, thanks to the V-6 engine and eight-speed automated transmission. The 2023 Kia Carnival's fuel tank capacity is 19 gallons, and the EPA rates it at 19/26 city/highway mpg. The 2023 Carnival MPV can tow up to 3,500 pounds in its standard configuration.

INTERIOR
A reclining third row, a sliding and retractable second row, and cloth upholstery are standard on the LX. Heated front seats, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and simulated leather upholstery are all included with the EX and LX Seat Package. Tri-zone automatic climate control and an intercom system are some of the EX trim's features. The SX adds a power-adjustable front passenger seat, front seat ventilation, driver seat memory settings, a 115-volt power outlet, and a dual-screen rear seat entertainment package. The SX Prestige adds leather upholstery, two power sunroofs, and a heated steering wheel.
The Carnival has much to offer beyond the best-in-class, 40.2-cubic-foot cargo area. It comes standard with an 8-inch infotainment screen, but a set of dual 12.3-inch touch-screen displays that spans two-thirds of the dashboard appears on the SX or higher. One functions as a digital gauge cluster, and the other is the infotainment screen. If you prefer something in the middle, the EX trim gets a single 12-inch infotainment screen. A six-speaker audio system is a standard feature on the LX, but you can get eight speakers on the EX and SX and potentially 12 on the SX Prestige.

SAFETY FEATURES
Among the Carnival's standard driver-assistance features, you can expect a rearview monitor, frontal collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic braking, lane departure warning and mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, a driver attention monitor, safe exit assist, and rear parking sensors. The EX includes additional lane centering, front parking sensors, cyclist recognition, and adaptive cruise control. Rear automatic braking and a surround-view monitor are included in the SX, as is a surround-view camera mode.
